As an emerging artist I find the paths that I follow with my work to be constantly changing and developing in multiple directions. I strive to create a discourse with my work that revolves around how we view ourselves and the world around us, and how we think we are viewed by others.

As a textile craft artist, I enjoy engaging the senses with beautiful, rich colour as well as an interesting tactility. I prefer to only work with natural fabrics, and dyes, wherever possible.

I am currently pursuing my BFA with a major in Fibre at the Alberta College of Art + Design in Calgary

Oh. My. GOODNESS!!

I'm not kidding when I say I literally hopped around in my computer chair squealing like an idiot this morning when I logged onto dA.
I want to give a MASSIVE shout out to maytel (I'm new and don't know how to link to her!) for featuring my work. Seriously, thank you for the huge exposure. I love what I do and the fact that over 100 people have added my art to their favourites really gives me the warm fuzzies.
Secondly, I want to toss a huge thank you to everyone who came to my page, commented, favourited, gave me llamas, submitted my work to their group, watched me, etc. If it wasn't obvious already, this is a big deal for me. All of your support and love makes me so happy, and none of you actually know me! I'm so glad to be a part of such a supportive community.
